We tried this recipe years ago at a popular steakhouse in town. The cocktail list had great and innovative drinks and my wife asked me to try and recreate this Anti-Oxidant Blueberry martini at home.
This is a smooth martini with subtle cranberry and blueberry flavors, along with a hint of lemon. It’s a nice change from a cosmopolitan and a refreshing summer martini. The Anti-Oxidant tastes slightly tart and citrusy, but not too strong or bitter.
As you can see from the recipe, this is a strong drink but the alcohol is not the dominant flavor. It is a bright, refreshing drink, perfect for a summer afternoon. You will notice the taste of blueberry but it is not overpowering. You can slightly smell the blueberries but there is also the hint of lemon.
It would be a fun, light signature drink for a backyard BBQ, or a sophisticated addition to an engagement party.Print
